About Michelle
Headshot 2022

You have been struggling for so long and are ready to move forward. But how can you find a therapist you can trust and click with?

Hi, my name is Michelle White, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Wesley Chapel, FL. I found my first counseling job in 1998 working with parents and their kids… and I just came alive. I began seeing people with open eyes. Their stories made me sad, but a little angry, and determined to help as many people as I could break out of family patterns that kept them feeling helpless and stuck. Fast forward to 2014 and I became licensed and started working in an agency. And you know what? Those young children I was seeing in 1998? They were now in my office with their young children, and the power of family patterns has become quite clear to me now.

I suspect you may also see the power of your own family patterns and have made a vow, “I am going to raise my children differently than I was raised.” I am proud of you for making that decision. But it’s likely more difficult than you realized it would be.

I have received advanced training in trauma so I can share strategies that may work for you. My training and experience go beyond trauma and PTSD. I understand domestic violence, sexual abuse, substance abuse, childhood abuse and neglect, anger management, parenting, mood disorders, and ADHD.

I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is similar to EMDR that allows me to utilize techniques that don’t require you to talk about what happened in order to feel better.

If you are ready to find relief from your past traumas, I am here to help.  Or click to learn more about my specialties.
