Michelle White, Trauma Counselor

Licensed Therapist in Florida and Maine.

You have been struggling for so long and are ready to move forward. But how can you find a therapist you can trust and click with?

Hi, my name is Michelle White, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Zephyrhills, FL. I have received advanced training in trauma so I can share strategies that may work for you. My training and experience go beyond trauma and PTSD. I understand domestic violence, sexual abuse, substance abuse, childhood abuse and neglect, anger management, parenting, mood disorders, and ADHD.

I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which allows me to utilize techniques that don’t require you to talk about what happened to feel better.

If you are ready to find relief from your anxiety, depression, or trauma, I am here to help. Contact me at (813) 578-0775 for a free 15-minute consultation to discover how therapy with a plan and the right therapist can help you live a life with purpose and meaning again.

FAQs about Counseling:

How do I schedule a free consultation?

You may email or call me to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. I will ask you about what is bringing you to therapy and if you will be using insurance. You can ask me questions as well. After the consultation, we will schedule your first therapy session and I will send you a link to complete the intake paperwork. This takes about 15-20 minutes to complete and includes the intake questionnaire, consent forms, and credit card information. I use SessionsHealth and your information will be kept in a secure portal.

How do I make an appointment?

After your initial consultation, I will schedule your first appointment, and at each subsequent appointment, we will schedule your next appointment before we finish. If you like, we may schedule 3-4 weeks’ worth of appointments to secure your time. However, if you no-show an appointment without calling or emailing, your following appointment will be canceled.

How long is a counseling session?

Counseling sessions are 50-55 minutes long. They are scheduled weekly, as research has found that people who attend their sessions weekly get more bang for their buck. They get better faster and don’t need to be in therapy as long. We will complete a treatment plan on your first or second visit with your goals and we will review this periodically to make sure we are using your time wisely and that you are making progress on your goals. I will frequently ask for your feedback on your progress.

What methods of payment are accepted?

You may pay by cash, check, debit, credit, or IvyPay (an app specifically for therapists). You may use your insurance benefits as well.
